Liu Chai, majoring in Ideological and Political Education of 2017, won the first prize in the non- mathematics group. Sponsored by Chinese Mathematical Society, the contest is thehighest- level competition in basic mathematics for undergraduate students in
China. Liu Chai said that she was interested in business administration in her junior year and decided to enter the postgraduate program in business administration, so she began to study advanced mathematics by herself. The process of self- learning was not easy, but she didn't give up. After a period of study, she participated in the 12th National Mathematics Competition for College Students and achieved excellent results in the competition through her continuous efforts.
